About me

Sasha Louise is a BABCP and ACCPH registered therapist. She also has a background in NLP and life coaching. She has worked with numerous clients with various mental health conditions.

In a previous exitance Sasha Louise was a CIMA qualified accountant who spent over 15 years working for the financial services in London. During her time in corporate London she experienced a variety of mental health challenges herself. Working environments were demanding, time pressured and the company cultures were stressful. In that time Sasha Louise experienced being bullied at work, depression, stress, insomnia and periods of anxiety which motivated her to reach out for professional support. This was the start of her mental health journey and eventual training to becoming a behaviour therapist.

Sasha Louise didn't notice her mental health challenges at the time. She thought she was managing herself and she was very much getting on with things. There was little mental health awareness at work at this time, managerial support was minimal and there was an embarrassment to discuss at work, especially in her experience, in financial services. There was a general concern that your peers would judge your ability and it could impact your career, annual review and pay levels. In addition that your peers would decide that you were unable to cope and this could impact on your career. She considers her life at this time to be a repetitive cycle of same days without variation with too much time spent on social media, watching the same TV shows and films, no sense of adventure and willingness to do anything. "No" had become a default response as she shut down, and became a means of protection.
After a long period of time with this behaviour she woke up one day and realised that she didn't have close relationships with friends anymore that she had socially withdrawn. Her care of self had substantially diminished, she had stopped exercising and eating well. Rather than spending free time going out and having fun it was about recovering from work and the experiences there. Personal relationships suffered substantially because of negative patterns of behaviour.

As well as challenges at work there were other life experiences to manage including personal experiences of emotion trauma, including bereavement, work and fertility stress, depression, anxiety and insomnia. Sasha Louise sought out professional help which helped her change her life to a positive experience. CBT is a talk therapy with uses practical techniques allowing individuals to talk out their problems and manage them. There is a balance of feeling emotions and using techniques that allow us to move forward in life with our experiences and not be stopped because of them. CBT help Sasha Louise a great deal with NLP and life coaching. She has a life today she really enjoys, she has a sustainable work/life balance. Through her life experiences she has a better understanding of her needs and when and how to look after herself.
Therapy works because there are life experiences that happen to us or that we create through the patterns of our behaviour and we need support to change and navigate difficult situations. In a non judgmental space an individual can get a better understanding of their own thoughts, feelings and emotions and change them to create more positive outcomes.

My Philosophy
If you would like to see change around you start with you.
Embrace change. Change is happening around us all the time. Nothing ever stays the same.

Control is an illusion, we can’t control anything. We tell ourselves we can to make ourselves feel better.

The more we relax, the more fun we can have.

Anxiety, stressed and depression are suppressed emotion that is now demanded to be looked at.

Be grateful every day. Inspire as many people as you can. Make yourself laugh many, many times a day!

Therapy/coaching can be quick and effective!
